MANAGEMENT AND EXPERT ADVICE


With 50 years of experience in the field of calender finishing of textiles and techn. Textiles I have built up networks over the years and got to know and evaluate technologies in the competition of pressure equalization systems from a comparative perspective. What used to be the deflection compensation via the floating roller, the measure of all systems, today the Nipco® technology is the undisputed technical leader and unmatched when changing working widths and pressure profiles are technically requiredThis fundamental understanding was and continues to be the driving force for effective consulting in this industry.


1974 - Managing Partner


In 1974, I founded Ramisch Kleinewefers GmbH together with Kleinewefers Beteiligungs GmbH. The partners brought their previously competing activities in the field of calender finishing of all kinds of textiles into this company. Both shareholders each held 50% of the shares.

This company developed at a rapid pace. By acquiring the companies Briem, Dornbusch, Spinnbau Bremen, Zimmer Plastik Offenbach and Greenville Machinery, the company diversified into the specialist areas of wet finishing of textiles, plastic finishing and carding technology for non-wovens.

The decisive impetus for technological leadership in textile calender construction came from the license takeover of the Nipco® technology from the Eschwer Wyss Group in Switzerland. I and my employees now concentrated on developing this technology into a key technology in textile calender construction. In the 1989/90 financial year, the largest annual turnover was achieved with 235 million. A large order from Russia acquired on the basis of my work in the specialist group mechanical engineering for light industry within the framework of the German sowt. Economic Commission was the basis of this success.

In 1991, I ended the collaboration with Kleinwefers Beteiligungs GmbH and sold my share in Ramisch Kleinewefers GmbH to my partner company.


1991 - Consultant to the trust


After leaving Ramisch Kleinewefers GmbH, which I co-founded, I founded Ramisch van Delden GmbH with Hendrick van Delden,  a Consulting company for all areas of the textile industry. The company was involved in the transformation of the textile companies and the associated mechanical engineering in the former GDR.


1999 - Advisor to the Guarneri family/Italy


After completing my consulting work for Treuhand Berlin, I left Ramisch van Delden GmbH in 1999 and focused again on my core competence of textile calender construction. Until  2017, I worked as a techn. and sales consultant for the Guarneri family in Busto Arsizio and led this company to a recognized and technologically leading position as a supplier of calenders for textile finishing. The basis of this success was the decisive negotiation with the company Voith Heidenheim for the transfer of the Nipco® license in textile applications to the Guarneri activities in calender construction.


2017 - Advice to Küsters GmbH owned by Andritz AG


The former Küsters GmbH, based in Krefeld, was sold to Kleinewefers Beteiligungs GmbH and passed on from there to Andritz AG. Under this new company name, the new management focused on expanding activities in the nonwovens sector. The decisive factor was and remains their further development of the so-called floating roller to HOT S, the core technology for nonwoven activities. There is currently no competitive system on the market that would be able to build a pressure equalization system using a hot deflection controlled steel roll. The further development of this system for this special application has pushed the previous dominance in the competition for textile applications into the background. In the 1970s, Küsters was one of the market leaders, but this position was lost with the advancing marketing of the Nipco® technology by the former Ramisch Kleinewefers or later the Guarneri activities.

The desire of the management to regain a dominant position in this formerly established market segment led Ramisch to the consulting position there. The contract was not extended beyond its expiration date due to technical disagreements that could not be resolved.


2022 what next


I now make my many years of experience in the development and construction of high-performance calenders for the textile industry available to all interested companies in the industry. Wherever an investment in a new textile calender is pending, wherever problems arise with existing calenders, I am available to advise you. To solve identified problems, to accompany upcoming investments, in the development of the specifications, in the technical Evaluation of submitted offers in the selection of contractual partners, accompanying my future customers up to trouble-free commissioning. What may also be of importance is that I offer myself quite competently as a "trouble shutter" in the event of technical problems. problems; in this job I get my 30 years of experience as a commercial judge at the Krefeld District Court benefit.


I am fluent in English as well as my mother tongue German.
